Senior Year Rigorous Courseload

During senior year, I took 4 AP courses, which composed my whole courseload. It was my toughest schedule out of all my years of high school. My high school was on block scheduling and reported grades by quarter. Also, I took a college 4th semester French course.

Now, I applied to colleges for regular freshman admission for Fall '09 (I had to call colleges to make sure this would be possible as I graduated '08). I was waitlisted last year for Brown and Stanford for Fall '08 and they only saw 3 B's from my transcript and midyear report in Feb of last year.

How would 5 B's (they were mainly around mid-semester of the fall and spring senior year) and 11 A's affect my admission?

If my school was on the semester system, I would only have 3 B's and 5 A's. They were my only B's in high school. It's a downturn from junior year, mainly because of my tougher courseload (4 APs senior year v. 2 APs junior year).

At the end, I had a 4.509 W GPA and a 3.8-3.95 UW GPA.

It would put you in with the rest of the pack. I mean, the GPA’s of people who apply to Ivy League schools are so high that having a very high GPA can’t alone put you into Brown.
