My school does trimesters. I want my final semester to be as easy as possible, thus I am taking many partial year AP classes and taking BS electives for the third trimester (besides Ap calc, ap physics, and ap lit). Am I wrong or will college admissions not care about my third trimester work load? I will be accepted and committed to a school so there should be no issue in taking the final trimester easier? ANY input would be great because I want to still be a contender for top universities but I also want to have fun for once in highschool.
Thanks
If your schedule is already set and has been submitted to colleges before their decisions are released, then yes they do care. If you don’t create the schedule until after college decisions, then I don’t think it will matter as long as it is “comparable” to your current academic performance. At most schools your yearly schedule is set at the beginning of the year so colleges do see the classes you intend to take and require that you notify them if you make any changes. It’s the final trimester grades that don’t matter (unless they’re god awful) because you’ll have already gotten in to college.
Ohh, okay! Thank you very much for the clarification.
