Senior Year Schedule

RHSstudent - Prepare yourself for A LOT of essays... I took AP Lang/Comp last year and if you aren't comfortable with writing it could get rough. At my school it would be suicide because the AP Literature teacher is infamous for her essay grading.

my school doesn't offer all those classes...we only have 7 AP classes combined for junior and senior.

My Senior year:
AP Calculus AB
AP Calculus BC (sem)
AP English Lit

Economics (sem)
Honors Physics
Peace and Justice (sem)

I'm doing 4 APs. I was going to do AP Calc AB but don't think I would be able to handle it so I'm doing an easier college level Calc class

As for APs, I've got

Jeez here we go:

I'm already working on Strang's "Linear Algebra" course!

man, you people make me feel like a slacker for backing down to only 4 for my senior year (I took 5 this year)

Stats

WHat is more writing, AP English or AP Lit/Comp.? I definitely want to take AP English.

WHat is your opinion on what class I should add to my schedule:
AP Lit/com. or..
AP Envir. science or..
AP Computer Science AB

Depends on what you're interested in, better at, and plan to do with your life. If it were me, I'd say CompSci in a second.

I plan to major in Biology/Chemistry. However, would it be a waist of time to get AP Env. becauase the materia covered is basic, and some of the material covered I learned in different classes. I need to improve my reading, thus,I thought taken Lit./comp. would be helpful.

AP environmental=mega easy
A lot of colleges don't pay any attention to it, though. So you probably shouldn't bother with it.

If you've already done AP English Language the AP English Lit might be pointless too, I think a lot of schools only take the score from one exam for hours.

AP Stat
AP Lit
AP Macro/Micro(they're put together for some abnormal reason)
Forensics
French 12 Honors
Chorus
Health.

At my high school:
AP Psychology
AP Latin Literature
AP English Language
AP Computer Science AB
Dynamical Systems

At Case Western Reserve University:
Fall Semester: Chemistry of Materials, Introduction to Chemical Systems
Spring Semester: Introduction to Modern Physics, Methods of Mathematical Physics

AP English Literature
AP Calculus AB
AP Physics C: Mechanics
AP Physics C: E&M (if I can get that in my schedule...else AP US History)
Probability & Statistics - (AP Statistics)
Economics & Global Issues - (AP Macro + Micro)
Info. Tech. 4 - Oracle Java Programming - (AP Comp Sci A)

AP Lit
AP Physics B
AP Calc AB
AP US History
AP Environmental Science
Chorus (had to take it for NC scholars)
self study something, probably AP Psych

@ my HS

AP Lit
AP Spanish Lang
AP Physics
AP European History
Journalism
AP Econ
AP Calc AB

and of course the party subjects...Spirituality and Prayer

I envy you; the powers that be wont let us take 7 courses, even if one is just journalism...

if you can't fit on several classes (AP's), enroll into online, I found it quite easy sometimes, althought tests are timed, which didn't give me any trouble. check out apexlearning.com, some people hate it, some people (like me) didn't find it bad.
