so i'm now officially a high school graduate and a college student.....however, here was my senior year schedule, hope it helps:

IB HL English 12
IB HL History of the Americas 3 (1st Semester)/IB Cold War (2nd Semester)
IB/AP Calculus BC (best class ever!!!)
IB/AP Inorganic Chemistry
AP Statistics (worst class ever!!!!)
Wind Symphony

AP Macro/Micro Econ
AP US Gov/Comp Gov
AP Calc AB/BC
Biology Honors
Advanced Theatre
Film as Literature (English Elective)
---i think im gonna die... 6 AP test in May is gonna suck

yeah, ur right. i just checked CB. I think my school combines them into one course, but i'll have to make sure when school starts, this just got a lot more confusing lol. and does anyone have any idea or experience how hard it would be to self study physics?

AP Macroeconomics
AP U.S. Government & Politics
AP Psychology
AP Calculus BC
AP English Literature and Composition
AP European History
Chamber Orchestra

you can take two ap tests that are scheduled for the same time slot. I did it this year with environmental science and chemistry. I took the chem one the day it was scheduled for and the environmental one a week or two later. So doing AB and BC in the same year is conceivable.

UGHHH. Today was not a good academic day. I had to go into my school to get my schedule fixed, and let me just say that I can't stand my school's scheduling system. This is the second year in a row I've had to COMPLETELY compromise my schedule because classes I want to take aren't offered in enough periods around my performing arts classes.

REVISED SCHEDULE:

1a) AP Computer Science
1b) Anatomy/Physiology Honors (AP Biology wasn't offered)
2a) Cecilian Singers (mixed choir)
2b) Advanced Acting
3a) AP Government/Politics (AP Art History wasn't available)
3b) Jazz Choir
4a) AP Human Geography (AP European History wasn't offered)
4b) AP Spanish Language

Plus independent study Playwriting and English.

QUESTION: Somewhere on my college applications should I try to include the fact that I didn't take many of the classes I wanted in school because of my school's scheduling system? It really has compromised my high school career.

Calc BC and Comp Sci AB include all of the material from the lower level one. For BC you even get an AB subscore, I believe. It would be stupid to take the same test twice, with one just having extra stuff.

I've been told by admissions officers to get you GC to explain this in her letter of recomendation. If she refuses, you can tell them yourself.

I have a scheduling question...I posted up my proposed schedule earlier, but I want to know what exactly to do.

My schedule now:

AP Calc BC
AP Physics
AP US Gov
AP Lit
Economics
Issues in Sci, Tech, and Society
Spanish IV (not AP level)
Gym
College Level Tech Classes

Would it look better to take AP Bio instead of either Spanish or Economics since neither are offered at AP level? I'm trying to get the "most challenging" schedule possible, so would it look bad if I didn't take AP Bio? Technically, if I do take AP Bio, that means I will have taken all the AP classes my school offers.
