Being a TA is pretty much for kids who have dropped classes, if you mean to impress, you certainly won't. But with your gpa and SAT scores, I wouldn't worry to much, you are in good shape.

Also, if your school offers AP Calc and you haven't already taken it, then you should take that as opposed to Stats. It's often seen as more rigorous than Stats.

In what are you majoring and are you applying to a specific program? AP Calc is time-consuming and I know several (very smart) kids who took it just to improve the rigor of their schedule but didn't like Math and they ended up hating it. I don't think AP Calc is really necessary unless you are applying for something like engineering.

i think that TA is fine--it'll put you in favor of the person writing your rec. ASB (associated student body I take it?) shows you are well-rounded. You seem to be in good shape.

You'll be fine. don't over do it senior year or you'll be sorry come second semester. The colleges don't expect you to take a full AP course load, they just want you to take challenging classes (you're taking 3 APs so that is enough) and do well in said classes.

Replace TA and take a science. Should it even be questionable why you're not willing to put in the final effort, even if it may seem trivial, towards helping get into the college of your dreams...after having worked your ass off for 3 years? That's how I saw it when I chose my senior year schedule. Every little bit that makes you look good helps, and taking a weak course load senior year isn't going to help.

Also, UC's have a-g requirements, make sure you can fulfill all that w/ your senior year schedule.

I am taking 6 APs right now, my senior year, and it is the worst thing ever. I doubt taking 6 APs will even help me that much in terms of college. It also took more time away from my extra-curriculars and my college essays. Take an easy load, and enjoy senior year as much as possible. That class schedule you have right there seems rigorous enough, but at the same time, it will let you have some fun :]. Honestly, i wonder everyday why i took 6 AP classes. I did get a 5.0 first semester, but it was definitely not worth the stress, time, and effort. There is a difference between being smart and avoiding the hard classes, and being lazy to avoid them. In this case, it is the former.
