<p>Do you want to do these things? If so, then yes. If not, then probably yes, but in a hollow, useless way that won't make you stand out.</p>

<p>It's not pathetic to try to get into college. I'm forming new clubs to have a more diverse extra curricular record. My school doesn't offer many activites or class that would interest me, so i want to start some new ones. I might start an AP Study Club to self-study some AP classes.</p>
<p>An AP Study Club would probably help you with the AP tests, but it doesn't demonstrate a passion or interest that an admissions counselor could identify as contributing to a college/university community.</p>
