Is this actual senioritis or just burn out

Probably just burn out… You have a lot of stuff going on. You are likely sleep deprived as well? Just try to manage your time better, or quit an activity that is less important to you, so you can actually sleep. You’d be surprised how much sleep deprivation affects your motivation…

Senioritis, by definition, happens to seniors. It happens AFTER seniors have worked very hard not only at school but also for their applications, and after they’ve been admitted to a college or two. All the pressure they’ve felt evaporates and they relax to the point they don’t feel like studying anymore. (Although they have to be careful because a D or an F means being rescinded, ie., losing your admission!)

What does that mean for you?
1° First have a full medical work up to make sure you don’t have a thyroid problem, or other problems that affect physical fatigue.
2° Are you feeling burnt out? Exhausted all the time, don’t feel like going to class, etc? Talk to your counselor and see if you may be getting depressed.
3° You have a heavy schedule. Did you overschedule? 3 AP classes + precalc honors sophomore year is pretty hard. How can you handle your work day better? Do you make the most of your study hall?
4° Could just be lazyness… do you “just feel like not doing anything for school” because building apps is more fun?
