how have you guys been dealing with senioritis since getting the appointment? (that is if you have senioritis haha)

and how did some 2010ers deal with it?

the school year is getting harder and harder for me haha

u just have to push through. yes its hard, but if you mess up to bad, you can be trouble (aka, don't fail your classes). senioritis occurs with everyone. i would just make sure that you push through to get work done, and just do the best you can.

and enjoy these last couple months. they are great times

I procrastinated more and more! Still got all my work done though. Only a little time left, finish out and its over.

well, "over" with hs. block scheduling is definetely nice, tho

i have been a little more relaxed about the grades but still get all the work done.

For me, theres like 3 weeks left until APs.

After that, it'll all be worth it.

What about grades? Would getting a C really effect their thoughts on your appointment? Senioritis is really starting to bite... At least for me..

If you're submitting yourself to C's at the end because you can't keep up your effort, is that the character people want to see in a future officer?

When people ask me about relaxing or slacking off at the end before USAFA comes, I just am baffled. Why set yourself up for a shock then? If you continue through the end strong, then when you arrive here you can jump in strong instead of trying to rev back into the thick of things. Senior year HS is not the end of your education, so why would you treat it that way....

Would a C change their choice on your appointment? Probably not. But why slack off when you know even more intense schooling is on the way?

Finish strong people.

I second that. Don't blow your last month off...it doesn't say good things about you.

The important part here is to not do anything stupid that can get you in trouble. Grades are always important, but no one is going to be getting you final grades from HS. Your academics have already spoken for themself, and they won't change their mind if you get C's. D's and F's will get some attention so do not allow yourself to slip that far. Don't do anything stupid with the law like getting arrested, avoid any possible encounters with the law, especially with drugs and alcohol, but something as minor as a speeding ticket, don't worry about it. You won't be driving out here for two years anyway. To sum it up. Yeah, go ahead and have fun. Don't let your grades slip, but don't spend too much time on homework. Go out, have fun hanging out with friends and enjoy the time that you have at home. Definately have fun b/c June 28 will be here before you know it. GL

Don't fail classes.

Try, if you can, to improve that C but don't sweat it.
