I've had a lot of it this year. But now that I've got that whole college thing done with IN FREAKING DECEMBER, I'm afraid I might just completely fall off of the face of the earth. Suggestions for avoiding this?

Don’t avoid it, embrace it. :)

Ahhh, but the english paper that “I’ve been doing” for the past 2 hrs would beg to differ. Why did tonight have to be Thursday (Office, 30 Rock, Park n Rec, Community–aka the only night worth having a television on) night? Gahhhhh

Ironically, you should do as well or better for the rest of the year, because the pressure is off, and now you can relax and “learn for the sake of learning”. (lmao)

I wish i could have embraced senioritis, but I had to try and keep a 4.0 for the rest of high school to satisfy my overachieving self.

Now at Cornell, i’m happy with a C+.

its tempting, very tempting…

i wouldnt give up just yet. remember, even though you got in, you application still isnt “complete” until cornell gets your final grades at the end of the year! plus, you wouldnt want to end high school on a bad note when you have been working so hard for 3+ years. and keep the work ethic up so it doesnt get destroyed before you get to college

CONGRATS!!

I’d say go ahead and let senioritis kick in…

But that doesn’t mean just stop working period. Whatever you put down as your tentative schedule for next semester, keep that (or something comparable) and just don’t let your grades fall way down. Even if you’re a straight A student, a semester of A’s and B’s is not going to tarnish your transcript. I think I got a C my 2nd semester of senior year and they didn’t give me the boot.

The acceptance completely changed my outlook. Yesterday I had an argument with my psych teacher because she wasn’t going to give me credit for an assignment that I had been unable to print out due to computer issues. Today I really couldn’t care less, it’s going to be hard to make it to the end of the semester, but once I’m there the senioritis will kick into full gear.

You’re very lucky you got in ED and don’t have to care anymore. I was accepted RD and I had to stress that whole time the ED kids stopped giving a damn about school.
