Today my biology teacher came up to me and said, "Bamagirl95, I've been very disappointed in your lack of effort. The past month you've been slacking off and not being the student I know you can be. If you has acted this way in January, I wouldn't have given you your recomendation. I don't think you're ready to go to prep school, and if you act this way up there, you won't make it, blah, blah, blah."

I was soooo angry with her. I mean, I have a B in there and I get 100s on the tests. I just don't see the point of crossword puzzles and notebook checks for a grade. I thought about getting every question wrong on tomorrow's test just to spite her, but I know that's a baaaad idea.

I disagree. If you’re into prep school and done at your middle school, its pretty much the same thing as being into college and done at your high school. Maybe the word “senioritis” doesn’t transfer exactly, but the general idea does.

thats so annoying of your teacher, bamagirl! especially since your grades aren’t even bad. I find that I have less patience with the busywork (wordsearches, etc) now, too.

Don’t let it get to you. Move on. Try to do you test well tomorrow and focus on your immediate needs. I know you are upset, but just ignore and be patience, work hard and you will achieve your goal.

No point getting spiteful. It will not take you anywhere.

I am sure you are a good student and we all have up and downs in life and we need to move on and be a good citizen.

I have junioritis. I can’t wait until the school years over and next fall comes. The stuff we learn at my public high school is so boring and pointless.

I guess it’s a universal disease…It’s not so much the academics at my school that are making me angry, but the people.
Now that I’ve seen what boarding school has to offer, the students at my school seem immature, ignorant, and crude. I’m actually severing my relationships with all of them as I type this.
I can’t WAIT to get out of here…
