I'm applying to Yale SCEA as well and an just about to reach the tipping point of anxiety. I know I'll be happy at my state school but it would be really cool ot get into one of my reaches so all my work and effort in high school will amount to something more than my slacker peers who have taken gym like 10 times!!! It doesn't help either that Yale is the hardest school to get admitted to in the country and it seems that everybody and their mother is applying to Yale early this year lol...

I love my state school. It's one of my top 5 schools. :)

im nervos right now because im applying, in essence, early decisions to 5 or 6 schools sucks cause i don't have time to go see colleges in the east. i am visiting williams and amherst (2 of my top 5) but im close to scratching out williams because i've heard its really rural. and i have to decide before i visit. but i have to wait and see i guess.

If I had the grades for Harvard, I'd apply to Wharton ED, but unfortunately I don't, so I'm stuck with Stern ED. GRR

What's this obsession with Yale??

yo momma

senator noodles, i'm guessing your a harvard person. maybe its the fact that yale offers so much, its probbly the ivy in my school which most people dont just apply to for the sake of it being an ivy.

Isn't Wharton in UPenn?

She meant that if she had grades that were good enough to get her into Harvard, she would apply ED to Wharton.

She just used it as an analogy; getting into Harvard would require stellar grades.

Wharton is basically the definition of the word "competitiveness."

c'mon, Williams, I need a fat purple envelope come december 15th..

I don't care too much, even though I am applying to quite difficult reaches. I could care less if I went to Harvard or Oberlin; I just don't want to end up at Ohio State or Washington unless necessary.

LMAO I couldn't agree more with the OP.

I wish I could clone myself, turn it on auto-pilot, and hibernate until this process was over.

yup, I can't wait for the admission results. i'm Canadian and have Canadian schools as safeties buT i am still freaking out about my SAT I scores and the results from a few US Schools that i've fallen in love with...

ummmmmm yess :)

I need a dancing bulldog on my screen.

i need to get in or it'll ruin my birthday ...what fun is turning legal if you have a rejected letter.......i know i wont be able to have fun celebrating my bday if i get rejected AAAH DANG IT

Haha, I'm done with the process.

Nanny nanny boo boo

Actually, there's a lot to do after the admissions bit.

If only I had my UMich acceptance/rejectance letter as early as people got last year. :(. They got results in mid-October. Too bad no results coming till November probably. If I had an acceptance letter to UMich I wouldn't have to apply to like...7/10 schools on my list, nor would I be retaking my ACT or taking SAT II's. grumbles.

Why are the decisions coming out so late this year?
