<p>I find it's polite once in a while, but it does seem just a tad awkward if you're not really that close with the teacher.</p>
<p>I email them now and again, and they always seem so happy to hear about my collegiate life. I’ve even had a few dinner party offers 
they love it when you stay in touch.</p>

<p>I probably wouldn’t…I feel intensely awkward even saying hi to teachers when I see them if they didn’t say it first.</p>

<p>I’m a Junior. I probably will still visit one because I had her for Freshman year English, she was my MYP (IB) Project mentor as a Sophomore and I have her again for Junior year English. I hang out in her room all the time like during lunch and after school and have a good relationship with her.</p>
