Senior's First and Second Semester: FIRST C AND possibly D IN A CLASS :(

I'm a Senior worried about how much my first and especially, second semester grades are going to affect college admissions. Also extremely worried about being revoked/rescinded an admission from UC's and privates. I have a 3.73 GPA unweighted, throughout highschool career and have maintained A's and B's for grades 9-11. But now, I'm really struggling with math. First semester grades: All A's except for AP Calc II - I got a C+. This second semester, I'm worried I'll only be able to pull off a C again. I'm pretty confident with getting A's in all my other classes. I'm hoping to get accepted into one of these schools: UCSD, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Stanford, Cornell, Princeton, Yale, Harvard. And now I'm freaking out that even if I get accepted after they saw my first semester C, would they revoke my admission if I get a C during the second semester?

Please, please, please give me some input on this! Thank you for your time. :)

As long as you get a C, and not a D, and manage to keep your other grades at A’s, I think you will be fine. The schools you listed always look at final transcripts, but I think that a C in an AP Calc class won’t warrant being rescinded. As for getting in, I can’t say based on grades alone, those schools put a lot of weight on things other than good grades.

You’ll be just fine.
UC’s policy of withdrawing their admission offer stats they only do so if you either get a D or F or your weighted UC GPA for senior year goes below 3.0, and for either case, the withdrawl is not a definite.

Your case is neither on the ones above, so there’s no need to worry.

Okay, whew. thank you so much! :D
