i’m doing well enough in everything except Physics B, which is easy for like everyone on CC but me. at least i’m accepted to my top choice! calc AB is easier than i thought.

AP’s are going pretty well. Except AP Bio, but lab grades help me not do too badly. AP Government and Politics is also going badly for rather complicated reasons, but I’m still getting a good grade because I guess I’m that good of a student.

I am surviving them pretty well. I kinda wish we had AP European History, but only because the teacher that would have taught it is awesome. A senior yr history would have been cool.

Sometimes I wish I hadn’t taken AP Bio (AP Bio is the class most difficult for me), but I get over it. Once, doing a lab cleared my sinuses and cured my headache (two symptoms that I suffered for days prior to the lab). So, I can’t really complain too much.

I have yet to pull an all nighter (latest so far is 3 am) so I’m good. AP classes really aren’t that much more difficult than regular classes, and I know that the honors English class gets more work than my AP Lit class.

Seriously, as I see it the school year ends when the first semester ends (SEVEN MORE SCHOOL DAYS!!!). By the time april rolls around I should know what school I’m going to and therefore which of my AP courses could actually get me some credit. Until then, I’m coasting. When I find out which tests actually matter, I’ll cram for them and hopefully pull of the grades I need. Senioritis FTW!

AP Bio
AP Gov
AP English Lit
AP Stats
Multivariate Calculus
Differential Equations
Modern Physics (waves, optics, relativity, quantum and atomic physics w/ calculus)

Iono how I managed to finish first semester. Ha ha.

The APs I am taking this year aren’t hard whatsoever at my school. (Psychology, English, Physics) Physics is a challenge, perhaps because I’m not the best with science.

My APs are just a bunch of busywork and I’ll be glad to be done with them. I honestly think I should have just taken the AP Lit exam last year because I doubt my AP exam grade will be any different at the end of the course. No APs for me senior year =P

I said 4 credits for each of the APs (divided by 2 because they’re yearlong) and said 4 for each of the math classes and 5 for physics. I suppose different colleges will do different things though.

AP teachers like to give a bunch of work, so I gave the equivalent college amount. Calculus courses are normally 4 hours and post-calculus/post-intro-physics courses tend to get 3 hours. So I said:

AP Bio-4
AP Gov-3
AP Lit-3
AP Stats-3
Multivariable-4
Differential Equations-3
Modern Physics-3
=23

I’m really going to have to step it up for senior year:

1st Semester

CHM 251: Organic Chemistry I
ENG 231: American Literature I
PED 110: Fit and Well for Life
MAT 273: Calculus III
Philosophy (Honors)
PHY 251: General Physics I (Calculus-based)

2nd Semester

BUS 137: Principles of Management
CHM 252: Organic Chemistry II
CHE 205: Chemical Process Principles
Health Education/Healthy Living
MAT 285: Differential Equations
PHI 240: Introduction to Ethics
PHY 252: General Physics II

Im doing fine so far with AP Physics, AP Gov, AP stat and english 5 at my JC. But next semester I’m starting calculus, so I think it will be much harder

I’m only taking two, Calc AB and Physics B. So far Calc is super easy for me, but Physics is a killer. The hard work with an added crazed teacher isn’t a great combination. Even the weight on the grade isn’t helping me haha.
