Whooo! I can't believe it is the LAST semester of our LAST year of high school! I want to make it memorable. Although I have to be careful about not getting Cs or below, I will relax and enjoy my senior year. I have a long list of books to read just for fun, and I can't wait to read them! I plan to go to parties/dances more often, hang out with my friends more often, and watch a LOT of movies. March and May will be a lot of fun for my class with field trips and special senior trip. The last day of school for seniors at my school is Friday June 3rd, but because I violated honor code, I will have to take the finals. So, Wednesday June 8th is really my last day. Then, I will have a day off on Thursday, and will walk at graduation on Friday 9th. Sigh I can't believe how close we're to finishing high school. I am already overwhelmed with mixed emotions (mostly excited).

What about you seniors? What's your plan for the second semester? Are you thinking of doing a senior prank? Do you have any plan for the spring break? When's your last day of school? Graduation?

i haven't heard anything about senior pranks so far in my school, but it will prob. be fairly tame bc the last few have involved vandalism :(

But, I did hear about a really good one for graduation night from one of my teachers. It works well wi/ a class of a hundred or more, I think. You give every student a marble, and when each one shakes hands wi/ the principal, he/she hands him the marble...after a little while, the principal has no room left in his pockets for all the marbles :D As the val., I would love to ringlead this one, bc who would suspect innocent little me? But, I'm afraid that someone would do something stupid and they'd withhold my diploma or something...

Graduation, june 2nd! woohoo.... and I basically won't have school the week before that because I'll be getting my minimum grade to not take an exam. yay!

That pregnant prank is crazy. Very original to say the least.

My school just opened three or four years ago so there aren't any traditions in that. The first seniors last year didn't pull anything notable, but I could envision a prank for this batch. I am going to just enjoy classes and continue to do my best (my courseload is medium, not too easy, but not too hard) until...

we don't have senior pranks anymore, b/c a few years ago, the senior prank was illegal.

a bunch of seniors stole farm animals from a local farm and set them loose in the school. Apparently, a chicken or something died, and the family pressed charges. so those involved in the stealing of the animal were arrested, charged, and convicted. i don't know what the sentences were though.

Two years ago, the seniors and a couple juniors bought hundreds of crickets and about 50 mice and set them loose in the school. They also took bleach and put an '04 in the carpet in the commons that was about six feet by six feet. After that, they stuck toothpicks in alllll the locks on the doors and broke them off. Needless to say, they got nailed for vandalism and spent the whole summer working off the money to replace the carpet...the funnier story is how they were caught, though. They were so proud of themselves that they bragged, and the administration got a decent idea of who the culprits were, so the called them all down and said that they had proof so the guys had better just spill their guts. The proof was in the form of a videotape from the store where they bought the mice. EVery single guy confessed, parents were called, etc. As it turned out, the admin. was just bluffing, though, and the store didn't even have security cameras :D

Spring Break - March 18-April 2
AP Exams May 1-12 (and then those classes are essentially over)
Last day of school - May 19th.
(no senior exams)
Graduation - May 27th

My school doesn't really do senior pranks. We usually have a couple skip days, but that's about it.

I heard that story on TV. Those seniors were sentenced 7 days in jail, and they couldn't walk at their graduation. Btw, a peacock died.

did you really hear that story, wow. where do you live hairy, cuz i live in southern ohio? that story was on MTV on their best senior pranks show.

yeah, it was a pretty big scandal. It happened when i was in 8th grade. But i think that the class of '06 may reintroduce the tradition of senior pranks at our school...
