To anybody on here who is going to be a senior, are you excited about going back to school? I know that when school starts I'm realllly going to miss the vacation, but more than ever I can't wait to go back. I never realized how much there is to do in Senior Year. Senior week, Senior prom, Senior projects, freshman day (a guilty pleasure, hahaha), and of course GRADUATION! It's really exciting thinking about it. Anybody else feel that way?

Freshman day? What happens on Freshman day?

Well the upperclassmen pick on all the freshmen. It's every Friday the Thirteenth (pretty clever when you think about it, everyone knows about it and nobody has to spread the word to anybody about when it happens) and this year we have two, one in October and one in April or May. But this is the first time in a while that there's been two of them.

All it takes is for one of these Freshman to complain to some one and BAM, just like that, lawsuits/suspensions etc...

they wouldn't dare...

dvlfnfv5, Not at my school. It's small, and not many freshman get beat up. It's mostly little stuff except for one or two exceptions. But everyone gets caught up in it so it's fun (even for the Freshmen, surprisingly a lot of freshmen say they look forward to it) and it's more of a class pride day than anything.

ah... senior year. i don't know, i always thought i'd be so excited to be a senior and now that it's here im like 'wait! i can't be a senior! what is this?!' lol. it's exciting but also really scary for me to be like a captain of sports teams and ahh idk.

yeah we're actually really nice to our freshmen lol. but we do have 'candy day' where the freshmen have to carry big bags of candy to school one day for all the seniors and then during lunch time they have to dance and sing and stuff. not really my thing but i guess it's not like traumatizing or anything for them so it could be a lot worse. then the next day we have a big sister/ little sister lunch where we bring our 'little sister' a lunch and a gift so it's cute and they don't hate us lol

I cant wait to go back to school. Class of 2007 w0t0w0t0w0t0w0t0ww00t00wt0w00wtw

I can't wait because I'm going to have my own car for the FULL YEAR for the first time! And I get to slack off second semester! I LOVE slacking off!

I still have three and a half weeks until school starts, and I plan on finishing all my college essays in that time. Then it'll be a matter of mailing all the forms out and doing interviews.

I hope to dedicate all my time (aside from schoolwork) to my main clubs (debate + one that I'm revamping + one that I'm cofounding), and then just having a great time. And I actually like doing club stuff more than most school stuff, so hopefully first semester won't be too stressful. I barely got stressed at all junior year - let's see if I can keep that up!

it's going to be something intense. they totally redid our schedule so now i have to rememorize everything! but oh yea, first floor lockers! nothing kills you like walking up/down 3 flights of stairs a dozen times a day. plus, since i have 6/7 classes with my best friend. of course, they are introducing a mysterious 40'minute period on thursdays called "community time" i don't even want to know what that means

I'm excited about senior year. I know it'll go by so quickly... holy cow. But still: Senior year = Top dogs! The hallways will part like the red sea whenever seniors walk by... ahh. Plus those gargantuan lockers we get senior year that we're free to decorate as we please... well, almost. no painting them or anything permanent.

I wish they'd reinstate freshman friday at my school... the freshie class at my school needs to be taught a lesson. Heheheh.

My senior year will be spent... just having fun, enjoying driving around (when I finally turn eighteen, Japan better watch out!), moaning over AP calc, and keeping up with extracurriculars, college apps, and scholarships. It's daunting, but a challenge is always exciting.

WE'RE FINALLY HERE GUYS! YAY!

senior year = end if HS = Getting older = going to college = getting a job and married = having kids = watching them grow up and swear in your face = they get married = becoming a grand parent = diseases = DEATH!!!
Not excited any more!

I'm not excited for school to start. I like summer. And besides, once school starts, I won't have much time to mess around and procrastinate on my college crap anymore. =(

Come on, meduh, its not that bad. It's our last year and we're gonna spend it doing everything we've always wanted to! I know it's gonna be a great, maybe a little sad, experience for everyone.

...there's something you've always wanted to do in hs that you haven't done already?

i think you're ****ed up for wanting to go back to HS.

HS is boring. Be excited for college.

W00T! COLLEGE '07 YEAHHHHHHHHH!!!

I hope I don't accidentally end up being on girls gone wild my first spring break of college... -_-;

Bunjy Jumping..[although I know I'll wet my pants half way down the bridge/building or whatever]

I have this bitter sweet feeling when I think about senior year..

I go to a small school and don't like most people there. I'm stressed out of my mind about my Extended Essay, two G4 projects, two taped orals, four World Lit papers... I don't want to think about what else. My parents are getting divorced, and I've yet to start writing my college essays.

So am I excited? Not really, no, can't say I am.
