Were there any seniors who took a January SAT Subject Test? And if so how are you going about sending your scores to your prospective colleges.

I know many schools like Cornell and Yale say the January SAT may not even be looked at, because scores are released in mid February and there may be a chance your application was already reviewed.

Also is anyone considering rushing they're scores? Is this worth the extra $$$ ?

I know Harvard, Yale, MIT, and Brown all accept January scores. All you have to do is add them to the list of score recipients. No need to rush.

I was planning on just sending the scores normally because I was warned against rushing scores. I don’t know how true this is but I read that rushed scores come via mail instead of online, and as a result take longer to process.

Both are sent electronically. CB regularly sends SAT scores once per week to colleges. However, if you choose to rush your scores, CB will send them the next day.

Example:

CB sends scores to all colleges on Monday.

You rush your scores on Wednesday. Instead of having to wait until next Monday for CB to electronically send your scores, CB will send them electronically on Thursday.
