Seniors!

Are you guys going to Prom?

I didn't go to Junior Prom, but I went to a few dances etc. But is it better to get a date, or go as a group? Either way though, I'm just lookin forward to the parties

It doesn't really matter if you go with a date or not. Probably funner to go as a group. (I didn't go to Junior nor am I going to go to Senior, I'm not into prom) And you don't have to go to the Prom to go to the after Prom parties....I still hit up all the parties last year, just without the dancing at the prom with the foo foo dress.

I'm definitely going to prom.

I think that it's fun either way- it depends on what kind of friends you have and what kind of a date you think you could get. If you think you might be miserable with that person or it might be awkward, it's 100x better to go in a group that doesn't have date (or a mixed group, where some have dates and some don't).

I've been to a prom with a date and without, and I personally liked it better when I just went without a date but with friends.

Yes, I'm most definitely going to prom. My school's prom is a junior/senior one, so I attended it last year as well. On your question of whether to bring a date or not, I'd say find out what your friends are doing. If all of your friends bring a date and you don't (at my bf's senior prom which I attended last year, I didn't see anyone without a date), you might feel left out. Similarly, if none of your friends bring dates, you might feel a bit awkward if you do have a date... particularly if your date is someone who goes to a different school (that happened to me last year at my own prom... it was fine but I ended up spending the majority of my time just with my bf and not with my friends).

In summation, its really up to you, but I'd say if you're unsure on whether or not to bring a date, find out what those who you'll be hanging out with at prom are doing.
