<p>initially i sent my supplement, but usps said it could not be delivered, so I sent another copy. Today, USPS is saying that the first one was delivered. Since stanford now has two copies of the same thing on hand, would this negatively affect my application or would they just throw one out?</p>
<p>I’m sure this isn’t the first time this has happened. It’s most likely a neutral event, maybe even a very slight positive since it shows you followed through to ensure they had all the materials.</p>
<p>They certainly won’t mind - when they see it’s exactly the same, they’ll just ignore the repeat anyway. If USPS made some sort of note that it couldn’t be delivered initially or whatever, I think it’d be obvious that it wasn’t your error.
As the previous poster noted, they in fact may think it’s good that you are so determined to ensure all materials have been received</p>
