Sent the wrong essay!

<p>I just realized I sent the completely wrong essay to W&M. What I mean is the wrong version - but this is version 1.0 rather than version 10000.0; as in, there is NO WAY they are going to take me if I leave it...</p>

<p>What should I do? Can I just fax it to them first thing in the morning? Mail it to them? I really don't want to call them and admit defeat over the phone. But I'll do it if I have to!</p>

<p>Urgh! I'm going to regret doing the optional essay...</p>

<p>You can send them the correct essay with a note asking them to read the one you are sending and discard the other. Then apologize for the inconvenience and thank them. No need to explain further. </p>

<p>It's not the first time that this has happened.</p>
