<p>For firm placement no offcial word is out. Some people have mention mid-march and if we look at history as a guide it would be the first week in April. I'm thinking the latter.</p>
<p>Question for sdog, HectorElFather, and others who have been recently admitted.... Were you all previously waitlisted then admitted or admitted through the "third round" of applications?? I have a friend who was waitlisted in Jan and it would be nice to know if there is still a chance for her.</p>
<p>i applied early, interviewed in november, then got waitlisted in january...i heard last week, so there is still hope for your friend</p>

<p>What type of background would SEO consider to be a "better fit" for Corporate Finance vs. Sales and Trading? I've read earlier posts where people were switched from one to the other.</p>
<p>sandmanpat. Youre placed in the group you applied for. Read the posts, the switch from CF to S&T was a special situation where someone had gotten an offer JPM S&T offer outside SEO. S/he was accepted into the CF SEO, then the switch to JPM S&T happened.</p>

<p>i got a call yesterday saying that the people who interviewed me think i'd be a better fit for trading than cf. anyway, i am really anxious to get firm placement.</p>
<p>It was just a simple email requiring one to write back and confirm you could start in May.</p>
<p>I was told I was a better fit for a rotational program in CF, S+T, and Research.</p>
<p>I guess I could narrow down my placements to JPMorgan, Citigroup, and Lehman Bros then?</p>

<p>i'm a senior that will be graduating in december. and yeah, those are the only firms with sophomore rotational programs.</p>
