<p>lehman is an 8 week gig...they actually have two summer intern classes, and hire 95% of their ft analyst class from the summer.</p>
<p>I don't know what kind of housing nyu provides (downtown housing's expensive as hell) but if the office you work at is accessible by the 1 2 3 line (check google) then columbia might be a good choice, given that the date works</p>

<p>Hey guys, I think I am going to accept my offer to join SEO sales and trading, but do you guys think they would consider my preference for a 8-9 week internship when making their placement decisions? I would like to also take a 3 week class here at cornell during the summer.</p>

<p>My friend who did SEO last summer had to be in China in early June and asked them if they can consider that. They didn't at all and put her in a firm that screwed up her plans. So I wouldn't be too optimistic, but maybe you'll get lucky. =)</p>

<p>So when I got an email from SEO earlier this week I asked when we would be getting firm placements..... they said mid-March.</p>

<p>Mid-March would be really nice, but I won't hold my breath. I will still be telling my self 1st week in April.</p>

<p>I got an outside offer from JPMorgan today, but it wasn't for Corp. Fin. They put in a request with SEO to take me on for Sales & Trading for summer, and I was allowed by SEO to switch.</p>
<p>anybody know people who have done the SEO accounting program? how effective is it in terms of continuing full time after the summer? good/bad experience working with accounting within an ibank? </p>
<p>i'm currently deciding between that and an advisory-risk position at either PwC or Deloitte. just wondering if anybody had any input.</p>
<p>(from Berkeley so NY would definitely be an extra perk)</p>
