SEO-Ibanking and consulting

<p>What are the disadvantages of enrolling in the SEO program? Is it wiser to transfer to one of the target schools for ibanking/management consullting recruiting?</p>

<p>If you go to a non-target school where there's poor recruiting all around (meaning you would not be happy working a job with the companies that recruit at your school) then yeah maybe you should give thoughts to transferring. SEO itself is a long shot because of a number of factors, usually you need about a 3.7 and even then you still go through a few rounds of very tough interviews. </p>

<p>If you transfer to a school that's a target you give yourself more options, the best being that banks naturally recruit at your school so you don't have to deal with the stigmas attached with coming in from SEO. Plus generally the higher ranked schools will have better job prospects all around which is good because you shouldn't limit yourself to banking or consulting seeing as both are incredibly difficult and even people with top GPAs will fail to get jobs because of the interview process.</p>
