Do I move in early if I attend the September Orientation? It's just me and my mom in Cali right now, and she's moving out of the country and I'm visiting there for three months almost right after I graduate so it'll be very difficult for me to attend the June orientation.

I've checked the hdh sites, but move-in information for September Orientation people is just mentioned in passing.
I'm hoping I get to move in close to the Sept 20 orientation date so my mom won't have to sit around in a hotel for me.

Also, I'd appreciate it if anyone who's attended the September Orientation can share their experience.

I did the september orientation 2 years ago and if I recall correctly, the schedule goes: friday orientation, saturday=move in day. But you can move into the dorms on thursday or friday if you pay extra

oh yea im confused… i live in orange county and will be attending orientation in september 19-20 (i think) for Warren orientation. do we (I) bring my living materials to move in? my dad is driving me there and idk where he can stay? im worried

If you want to move into the dorms (assuming you’re living in the dorms) on, say september 17 or 18, then you can bring your living materials to move into the dorms when you come for orientation but there is a fee…I think it was $150 per night? don’t quote me on that. If your orientation is a two day thing, then I think you’ll be living in the dorms for those two days but when I attended the september orientation, it was only one day so
There are a few hotels close to the UCSD campus where your dad can stay and where you can stay if you don’t want to move into the dorms a few days before move-in day

Move in day for Warren College is the day before orientation so yes, you will bring all of your stuff with you.
