seriously this time what are my chances at harvard

say my gpa is about 3.7 and i end up getting a few 4s and a few 5s on a total of about 4 ap exams

i play tennis for 3 years (in school and private lessons, although i am not great)

jazz for 5 years

marching band 4 years (officer as a senior)

empire state youth orchestra percussion ensemble 6 years

empire state youth orchestra for 5 years (youngest percussionist to make it
on first audition in history, principle percussionist and associate timpanist for 3 years)

i take 2 and a half hours of private music lessons per week from 2 different teachers(one for classical music one for jazz)

100+ hours of community service

officer in keyclub as a senior

co-chair of sports club as a senior

3 years of science research on space program (which gives me a total of 12 college credits)

2100 sat

3 satIIs all are 740

AND i decide to minor in music at harvard and play in their orchestra

to be honest your chances are not that great at all. i would say less than 10%. sorry.

well those are estimates at what i will have accomplished by the time im a senior...im only a sophmore...what can i do to raise my chances

Avoid labels!!

what do you mean avoid labels

simply mentioning National Honor Society or the sort

you'll want high ranking officer positions in any of those clubs. definitely above a 2200 on the SAT and SAT II's above 750.

as a sophmore there is still a ton you can do. i highly recommend more than 4 AP's, that is unless your school doesn't offer more.

start a cool club, that always goes over well.
