Session 102 Orientation: Who's going?

Alright, who's going to Session 102? I am!

I am too!

Does UCLA make us room with another person during orientation?

You live in triples during orientation.

Oh great. Are we going to be staying in Sproul during orientation?

On the site it says we're living in "Rieber Vista Residence Hall." Even though Rieber Vista is a Plaza....

Under "Program Facts" in the Brochure:

"Orientation sessions are held for three days and two nights for first-year students, with lodging at Rieber Vista Residence Hall."

mm im going but im kinda bummed cuz it seems all the hardcore ucla people are going to 101 but im out of town then =/

102 is for people who want their AP scores but dont want to pay $8 per test to find out by phone. 102=geniuses.

101 = hardcore. You're just upset because we get major priority over you. Also, it's not $8 per test but $8 per call. Not to mention that AP Scores can be self-reported and mailed later.

last year scores came out just in time for session 101. UCLA gets them and posts them on your my.ucla page before collegeboard releases them to you. i didnt sign up for 101 because of AP scores, and got 103 instead.

102 here baby. nothings wrong with this spot

You guys are far too worried about your orientation times. For the vast majority of classes you guys will likely be signing up for, there are giant enrollments and if you are in the first half of orientations you'll be fine. Even if you don't get it, it'll be a good lesson into your next 4 years, where no matter what enrollment time or class standing you have, you will get screwed out of some classes =P I've had classes fill up before I could even sign up for them... while I have senior standing... and a 9 am enrollment time.

Basically, treat orientation for what it is, a nice 3 day vacation in sunny Westwood.

You also have to keep in mind that there are enrollment caps on many classes throughout orientation so that the students attending later orientation sessions will have some chance to enroll into needed classes.

102 here also.

lookin' forward to it..
