My son has been accepted to the Whitehead School of Diplomacy at Seton Hall for his undergraduate degree, with a good scholarship package. My question is how well respected is this school? I know its not in the league of Georgetown etc (and with his grades etc Georgetown would be a reach for him). I want to know if anyone has any experience of the school, its internships and job opportunities after graduation.
Any information will be helpful. Thanks

I know someone who received her Master from SHU and now has a professional position with the UN. She was an intern one semester. It is very close to NYC - campus is a 10 minute walk to the train, which takes 30-45 minutes to NY Penn Station (depends on time of day).

SHU itself, however, is a fairly local NJ school. The business school, especially the accounting program, has a good reputation, however I’m not sure what else it’s known for. In the past 20 years it has added a significant number of dorms so it’s not as much of a commuter school as it used to be.
