Sewanee: The University of the South Admissions Opinion?

I am currently a male junior at a public high school, and I would like some insight as to if I would get into Sewanee or not.
I am in the following clubs:
Student Gov't
Future Business Leaders Association
*Future President of Nation Honor's Society
Beta Club

I am aiming for a 26 on my ACT, but am hoping for a 28.
I have a 4.0 and have never made a B, and I take AP courses.
I know people that go to Sewanee, if that helps.
I am going to apply early decision.
I have over 400 hours of volunteer service documented, and I have volunteered since 6th grade. Some long term (3 years), and some over the summer.
I would also like to major in Environmental Science, and minor in Creative Writing.
Any tips, suggestions, or help anyone can give to me? Thanks!

Sewanee is test optional, you might consider that route, it could be good for someone with your grades but relatively weak test scores. (A 28 would be considered good, but it sounds like you don’t have your test scores in hand yet.) However, going test optional requires you to jump through quite a few hoops, so if you want to do ED, you better get on the website and check out how to do it.

According to Princeton Review, Sewanee takes it’s application process seriously, so don’t blow off any part of it or it may have adverse consequences.
