Go into the woods/lock the door/find a girl with a single/go to a cheap hotel.....if he/she really wants to, there are always solutions....

bleh. less than appealing alternatives.

"patlees you're an idiot"

How? I learned over the time about the value of appreciating and respecting diversity and such. I don't hold a grudge against gay men and I strongly despise making offensive or negative remarks on them, but I would feel uncomfortable in certain situations regarding gay men such as if my roomate was gay and he sexiled me or something.

"natural biological response"? more like "natural homophobic response"

Natural homophobic response would involve intentional action on my part, in which I would make an offensive remark regarding gay men or practice in intentional discrimination of gay men. In my case, I would feel naturally uncomfortable, which isn't same as making illustrative discrmination by action. Feeling uncomfortable would still be in my thoughts, and who would verdict me of whatever guilt for my thoughts naturally incurred? Even if someone thinks about theft, rape, drugs, DUI, immoral activities, or other bad things all day, as long as that person doesn't commit the crime, he is free of any guilt.

the question i have for you patlees88 is whether or not you'd put a stop to your roomie sexiling you regardless of what orientation that roomie is...

or would you let him walk all over you just b/c he's straight? if you had a gay roomate would you be more compelled to put a stop to his sexiling ways?
