Sexual Attitudes at Dartmouth

handsonthedash...do explain the guys dancing with guys thing. Not something I've ever heard of...(not that that means much....my social calendar isn't exactly overflowing). But still.

I am indian and my Dartmouth girlfriend is half asian/ half white. My ex girlfriend was white, another ex was hispanic.

slipper1234: I'm Indian as well and will probably be applying to Dartmouth next year; thank you for the information.

kb5- I can answer this. The guys on campus that are gay will often dance with other gay guys, or bi guys, or sometimes even the straight guys that are comfortable with it. I think you have to understand a few things-

1: Dartmouth's Campus is, indded, a college campus- this means that people are experimenting, coming out, exploring their options.

2: The atmosphere at Dartmouth is a very open one regarding sexuality. The majority of people I know think it's almost...pathetic...to be a closeted gay person. On our campus, you can be gay without necessarily getting the stigma.

3: I know a lot of the gay guys on campus...they will show affection and put their arms around each other...these are just the things that happen in any relationship.

So in regards to "guys dancing with other guys not being something you've ever heard of"- I mean, it obviously happens at clubs and whateverm right, it only makes sense it would happen in a frat basement....not in the 60's...but...Dartmouth is pretty progressive (in my opinion).

slipper1234: I'm curious as to what your major is at Dartmouth?

hahahahaha babybirrd!

i'd like..........reply.....wth a rela comment..........but i'm likr................really messed rigth now hahaahahhhhhhh

oh my...well, hey, i'm flattered that I was namechecked

cali - uhhhhh yeah, embarrassed.

SORRY EVERYONE! Never again I promise! Because honestly, I do things like that verrry, verrrry sparingly. I think the reason I came on was b/c when I came home, my computer was still on the site, so I pressed refresh lol

I agree ! lol

I would gladly date a Dartmouth student (female that is ).

haha...i think i might wanna hang out with blu, it'll be fun. lol.

and i just remembered, at Lead program at Penn this summer, the two guy RAs were both gay and they shared a room. Gosh, there was so much fighting and bickering coming from that room. it was hilarious.

im looking for a girl, im not gay!!

We still love you, blu!

But respecting you, that's a different story...

ETA: whoever said that about the two RAs that were gay and together and bickering...lmao

Blu- don't you want to hang out with meeeeeeeeeee? (imagine that in an extremely whiny voice)

lol- I'm sure we would, though.

we absolutely would! but we won't, b/c you'll get into Brown and go THERE lol

...I'd still come up and visit you though! I've always wanted to see Dartmouth.

(I've actually never visited. :()

I hope I get to go to Dimensions.

ahhhhhhhhh me too!
