Alright based purely on percentages I know we've got some LGBT friends here. Let's hear about it. Do you feel comfortable with yourself, etc. Does your family know? Are you discriminated against because of it? This board needs to open up. Orientation is nothing to be ashamed of. Everyone should be proud in their own skin.

Why do you discriminate against straight people, it should be LGBTS.

Gosh.

^ Agreed. I am straight. My parents are fully aware, and I AM COMFORTABLE WITH MY SEXUALITY.

I’m straight as well. But nobody is discriminated against for being straight.

That would be like starting a “what is it like to be a minority thread” and then whining about the injustices of being white.

^^Haha, agreed:)

You shouldn’t care about a person’s sexual orientation unless you are interested in a relationship with him/her. It’s that simple.

“Why do you discriminate against straight people, it should be LGBTS.”

Well, it is written by hatersunite.

I am straight as well, imagine that! My mom won’t let me date, however, and I’m 17, which sucks, there have been 2 really nice girls in my life that I’ve had to turn down due to this fact.

17 and can’t date? Super conservative I guess. Don’t worry about it though. There are just about 0 positives to High School Dating. Drama, a bunch of time lost, and the threat of knocking her up are negatives. In 99 out of 100 cases you won’t marry your high school girl.

Str84life.

My dad told me I wasn’t allowed to date either. I was like “sureeee”. He eventually found out about my [then]boyfriend he didn’t seem to care.

Oh, but my mom’s different. No driving, either. And no hanging out without a legitimate reason, no having girls over the house for any reason, if there’s a school project even then it has to be done at school. No parties if it is for a girl, but apparently if it is for a guy and girls are invited it is okay…yeah. My mom’s crazy.

The funniest thing–I’m straight, too.

I’m 17. Haven’t dated yet, though.

I’m not even joking when I say knocking up a chick is the greatest fear in my life. Think about it. It would literally ruin your life unless you got an abortion. If she wanted to keep the baby I would have the following options.

Stuck with a teenage girl I’m probably not compatible with and missing out on college. Minimum wage jobs 4 life.

Paying child support from the age of 17 to 35.

Terrible. It’s the reason I’ve never had a serious gf. Ok going out and doing stuff is fine but there is no way I’d be willing to have a serious gf. You know the couples you see who are with each other all the time. Every weekend, all weekend. Acting like newlyweds. That type of stuff freaks me out. I’m in High School. I don’t want that kind of a time commitment and responsibility.

Just don’t go crazy when you get to college. Lots of kids like you who had really strict parents in H.S. go insane in college without the supervision. They either drink themselves out of college, do something dumb and get killed, or get a girl pregnant. Don’t do that. Partying is fun but there are a lot of other things in life that should take the priority.

^Good point. I’m waiting.

Oh yeah another thing I just thought about which should encourage you to stay away from long term H.S. boyfriends/girlfriends. Have you noticed how much people have changed since say 3 years ago? The other day I was stalking around on facebook and there was this one chick who was a 9.5 in 9th grade. I saw her current picture and she is a 6 at best. Obesity wasn’t the issue either. Our bodies continue to change until around 22 or 23. There’s a very good chance someone you find attractive now won’t be in 4 years.

BTW, everyone facebook stalks whether you admit it or not.

Condoms. Birth control pill. Morning after.

“Pulling Out” <– LOLOLOL

Don’t be scared, lol.

Well, I only care about the personality of the person:) Haha, I don’t even have a facebook:/ My mom won’t let me get one:(

This turned into an “Are you straight??” thread really fast.

^Although I’ve seen the opposite happen as well, but I know what you mean.

What else is the point of facebook? There was this one time someone kept commenting on my posts and I was like wth? get away from my facebook and they were like uhh why else is every move you make on that site documented with the time and put up on your wall? And I said…touche.
