<p>One of my best friends just passed away yesterday, so I really don't have the heart to do apps anymore (even though I have like, 7 left). </p>

<p>I know all of us on CC are somewhat college obsessive, but don't forget to keep it all in perspective. There's more to life than a 4.0. Go outside and watch the leaves change. Trying to get those last 50 SAT points isn't worth missing the snowball fight with your friends. </p>

<p>It's funny how it only takes one moment for all your priorities to change.</p>

<p>edit: sorry to hear about your friend... actually i just heard today that a freshman in my school died yesterday from cancer. life is just like that... i hope you feel better.</p>
