Anyone know of an internship (race and need blind) available summer
2015 for a strong high school student - preferably biology related?
Thank you.

Stanford Earth Sciences is a good internship, but it’s about (obviously) earth science.

There’s always SIMR (also at Stanford; I do believe they mostly accept rising seniors, however), as well. You can apply to COSMOS (although it costs 3K, financial aid is available; however, it’s sleepaway) as they have several biology-related clusters. I also think UCSC has a high school internship program that only costs around 2.5K.

There are a lot that are pretty expensive (around 6K), of course; but honestly, I don’t think they’re worth that much unless one gets financial aid.

YSP is great for biology, although that may be a ways away.
