Did anyone take Latin courses in high school? Or did you take languages that are spoken today?

I took French

Spanish and French (I'm in the AP level for both of them this year). I also took a semester-long co-op-esque program in Chinese at Yale (once a week) during my freshmen year, and Intro to Arabic after-school enrichment courses after school sophomore year. Ironically, those two languages - the ones I dabbled in but which stopped working out for me after a year - are the two that I'm definitely studying in college.

latin, and i sucked, 2 on the ap exam. so dont worry, i got accepted.

like 8 years of spanish (i took it middle school too)

French - I'm in AP French right now, but on the forms, I only put that I was a fluent speaker of Chinese, since my French honestly is not fluent by any realistic standards.

four plus years of spanish, and I started german this year
