Languages for GTown

<p>Maybe it doesn't matter that much, and I don't plan on applying to the SFS, so I'm wondering how much language proficiency would help me in admission.</p>

<p>This year I was in Honors Spanish 4 and German 3, next year I'd be able to take Span. 5 and German 4. Currently I'm only scheduled to take Spanish 5, not German. I'll have 8 years of foreign languages combined when I graduate, will it matter too much to discontinue German? Also, will 8 years of 2 languages look significantly better than say 3-4 years of one language?</p>

<p>You will be just fine with that record in languages. Just so you know, I was accepted with only Latin I, Latin II, and Spanish I. Don’t worry about that part of your application at all.</p>

<p>Don’t worry. I’m in the SFS and I only had two years of a language going in. (And I am not even taking that language anyway.)</p>
