Any Chance At All? What other colleges would you recommend

your in you should apply to all the ivys to. Your president of like everything thats pretty sweet

yeah, though if I were you I wouldn't put ALL of those ECs on your application..when you get to college, you look back and realize how foolish it looks. Pick the most important ones and make sure admissions knows you did something truly unique with your leadership positions.

Thanks for the Quick Reply

As for the Ivies, I was looking at both Harvard and UPenn. But Georgetown University was the most incredible place when I went there (I love Washington, especially the area around the university).

And Manderz thanks for the advice. My model congress club (Our "Debate Club") has written a bill for the Massachusetts States Legislature (it is sitting in the Buraeucracy of Beacon Hill). I will definately mention this as I will likely be doing a lot with it as President next year.

What's a JW? I think you have a very very good shot at getting in. One word of advice-- only put activities from 9th grade to senior year on your transcript. A lot of times they don't have time to go over each thing, so if they see "since 7th grade" and specific 7th grade achievements, they may think you got lazy in high school or just weren't as active in the most recent years, which is definitely not the picture you want to give. I was annoyed at first too when my college advisor said to take everything pre-9th grade off because I was on honor roll and won the science fair in 7th, but in the end I think it was a smart choice.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice.

So I should just put: Volunteer at Public Access Station (All Four Years of High School). Right?
