SFS or College (History, Economics, and Anthropology)

I hope to integrate the fields of History and Anthropology in Economics (growth & development). The SFS school looks appealing, especially if I pursue a major in International Economics and obtain anthro. and historical knowledge from the core. However, should I pursue something like interdisciplinary studies at the college instead to increase my chances of getting into Georgetown? Also, is it possible to be admitted to the College and then later on select a major in the SFS or transfer into SFS?

^OK, forget that question. I've decided to apply to the college.

But on the god damn application, it says i need to chose from "undeclared, languages and linguistics, and sciences". How do I select social sciences?

undeclared should give you an option for all the other majors. pick your top choice...

*Also, is it possible to be admitted to the College and then later on select a major in the SFS or transfer into SFS?

Does anyone know the answer to this?

Yes. Plenty of people have done this. It's called internal transferring. Done quite frequently, actually. Just as long as you do it during your freshman year, so you don't fall behind on the Core.

tlaktan: Would you please comment on the quality of classes among or between the different schools at Georgetown? For example, is the School of Foreign Service better than the other schools? Is it easy to transfer into SFS from another college or school within Georgetown Univ.?
