sfs to business

i got into the sfs ea, and am planning on pursuing a career in business/ ibanking. does the sfs prepare you for a career in this area and would it be competitive for internships/placement into top mba programs compared to my other schools: uchicago and northwestern?

btw international relations is my main academic interest (which i'm VERY passionate about) and i'm planning on majoring in international economics or political economy, but i cant really see myself taking the typical path of law school/saving the world.

Yes, definitely. UChicago econ is world-renowned but brutal and tends to have more of an academic focus. I know plenty of SFS students doing IEcon or IPEC who are going to be doing business consulting, international banking, risk management, and related fields next year. So in terms of preparation, I would say definitely yes. I honestly don't know much about Northwestern's program, but I would give Georgetown an edge solely on the basis of its reputation for all things international.
