-> Genius is not answer -> was extreme choice and not mentioned
-> Industry is not answer -> First passage is not about the effect of Shakespeare on the book industry instead it focuses on the awe behind Shakespeare, same with the second passage. The 1st passage is not concerned with the industry of books, but with the knowledge we have of Shakespeare.
-> Little is known about Shakespeare's life is answer -> 1st passage says it explicitly, second passage says it in the last 2 sentences

Didn't both passages mention his genius though? there was one sentence in each where it described him as being genius-like...i'm pretty sure. and humor was an answer?

If there's anything i've learned from studying for sat's its that you have to take the answer choice very literally and be able to eliminate the wrong ones instead of choosing a plausible one. The genius choice was like "genius of highest degree" or something to that extent. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I thought it was remark on how people aren't actually that famililar with shakespeare...cause the last sentence serves as "oh he actually wrote plays too" as ironic no?
