<p>I have been accepted by XYZ for mymajor, but I would really like to come to your school because of .....</p>

<p>That’s kind of tasteless, no? Also, do you really need to say I got accepted by XYZ? It sounds like you are trying to leverage a spot. I think you shouldn’t say that. Just explain your reasons and be sincere.</p>

<p>lol, that’s probably a bad idea. It will sound like you don’t really want to go to their college or like you’re playing hard to get, haha. I can’t imagine colleges appreciating that.</p>
