<p>I put an XKCD comic about how people just throw out names of bands they only learned about from Guitar Hero.</p>

<p>I love that XKCD. Good one.</p>

<p>I put my favorite monet painting. I’ve taken 3 years of art classes despite wanting to major in sciences, and I thought it would remind them of that interesting side of me.</p>

<p>A photograph of a souffle I baked and wrote an essay about. Maybe too literal, but I thought they might want to see the subject.</p>

<p>Since I talked about how I loved jazz and playing the trumpet for one of my responses, I put the album cover of Cookin’ by the Miles Davis Quintet.</p>

i wanted to put a picture of a nebula…or a brownie…or a red velvet cake…but i went with the sunset/rainbow</p>

<p>okay… this description may be a little long, so bear with me.
Every image that I used in my box was edited to look as if it were “sketched”. On the lower left corner of the box, I used a “sketch” of me looking towards the upper right hand corner. In the direction that I’m looking, I have “sketched” images of a pair of figure skates, a piano, musical notes, DNA, Roses, and an Ichthus (the symbol of the fish for Christianity). It sounds like a lot, but it’s not too overbearing.</p>

<p>haha I drew a picture of elvis presley on Paint and colored it in! :slight_smile: I’m so cool haha.
I didn’t mention him at all throughout my application, but I love Elvis! had to add him in somewhere</p>

<p>I drew and shaded a collage of sorts: A winding path, the sun and planets, and a big owl. Then I wrote in some of my favorite quotes.</p>

<p>It seems like I took a different spin on it than most people.</p>
