<p>Examples? Because I can tell you after going through the scholarship application process with my son a year ago, I consider a bunch of them scams. But probably not in the same way you do! :)</p>

<p>Scholarship America lost my application for the Military Commander’s Scholarship. I sent my AXA Achievement Finalist and my Military Commander’s one on the same day. I have a delivery confirmation for each of them. I won the AXA but was told I was not one of the first 100 applicants for the Military Commanders. That is IMPOSSIBLE because I have delivery confirmation in December and it did not close out until the beginning of February. 15 of the 100 receive $5,000. The lady from Scholarship America said it was too bad but they receive 100,000 applications each year.</p>
