Did anyone do the AXA Achievement Scholarship?

<p>I have applied to this scholarship in early November, but I haven't heard anything. When do they notify ppl for semifinalists? I also did the Sam Walton and Ronald McDonald one. Did anyone do these? If so, please tell me when they notfy you. Thanx a lot!!!</p>

<p>My younger daughter won the AXA in 2004. Their letter was mailed on April 21st, 2004.</p>

<p>I received a letter yesterday. I received a National award, which was unexpected but very cool. the letter said they choose one person from every state, 10 of which become National finalists. Congrats to others and good luck to everyone else!</p>

<p>To clarify, though, there are two scholarships administered by AXA - the AXA Achievement Scholarship and the AXA Community Scholarship (only for some cities). The Community Scholarship was due in Feb so they probably find out later.</p>

<p>My daughter applied for the National AXA Achievement Scholarship and received a letter last week stating that she was not a finalist. She also applied for the community scholarship since we have a local AXA office, but she has not heard anything regarding this one.</p>

<p>You didn't win I think. My friend won the $10000 one from our state.</p>

<p>I received a letter saying that I didnt get anything about a week ago. This was for the AXA Achievement. So I guess they do let you know either way.</p>

<p>Yes, I would say that if you haven't been contacted for the National AXA contest, you are out of the running. Again, we haven't yet heard regarding the Community AXA contest.</p>
