<p>I was wondering what Penn’s policy was about admitted applicants sharing their essays with current applicants. I was thinking of sharing mine, although it might be too late to help RD applicants :)</p>

<p>I don't think it matters, because RD applicants are smart enough to know that our essays have been read and been through the system, so they won't really plagiarize anything. And besides, if they do plagiarize, it will be pretty obvious who wrote the original and who's copying. Maybe Penn does have a policy, so don't take my word for it.

<p>This is a bit tricky, since technically, the essays should not be influenced by anyone else. Clearly, reading an essay of an admitted student might make some biases.</p>
<p>Last year, on Pennster, there was a topic about this and it got several hundred essays from admitted students. Quite diverse.</p>
