Anybody willing to share their why penn essays?
Most probably didn’t start yet, but if you did you can pm it to me and i’ll pm you mines. Or you can give good tips on how to make it better or on how you plan to write yours.

Hope you know admission officers read these forums.

if you can't think of / properly express the reason why penn is special to you on your own, then you probably don't want to be here, deep down inside, as much as you might wish to be elsewhere.

What's wrong with what the OP wrote?
Unless admissions officers think that people live in a vacuum and write their own essays and never show it to other people.

It's not like he/she's asking to copy someone else's old essay and pass it off as his/her own.

Even if admissions officers did read these forums, how would they know who Bilila1029387346 is in the world of RL? Logged IPs? More than one household can share an IP address, and even then that would be crossing into NSA territory ;p

Share away!

yeah but i hope your e-mail is different than the one you plan to give to Penn

People often post enough information to identify them.

Carry away if you wish.

*carry on.

heh

Its called peer editting. Everybody does it, there is nothing wrong with it. Its like helping a friend out with their essay ...

If you say so.

ehhh but still, I would be wary of what those lurking admin officers might see or think.

I wouldn't do it. I value my chance of getting accepted a great deal.

anyone willing to share not their whole essay, but some ideas of "why penn"?

hmm...well i would say why Penn is vital to my life, and what makes it so special.

I agree with tenebrousfire. If you are not able to think of some reasons of why you want to go to Penn, then why would you want to go? It's like wanting some ice cream because you hear that it's good, but you really don't like it. It just doesn't make sense.
