Where could I wash shoes on campus? Also, is there any post office on campus, or a place where I can get stamps/larger envelopes?

you can get stamps and larger envelopes at the cornell store (and i think anywhere else that there is a mail service, like appel and rpcc). you could probably just wash your shoes in the washing machines…

Don’t you find it easier to ask people on campus about these very specific Cornell questions rather than coming to a forum frequented by aspiring HS applicants? You need to get out more and meet more actual students. Get off of your computer and open your dorm door.

You’re at friggen CORNELL, one of the best collection of college students in this country and have been on campus 6+ weeks. Go meet some!

Wash shoes?

^T26E4 a lot of freshmen still dont know these things. the annoying chance threads are the ones that the high school students write. i still posted questions about cornell on cc as a freshman [under my other name] and there are older students who still frequent the boards to answer questions. dont judge :)

I agree with CU Ambassador '11. Yeah, most shoes can be washed in washing machines unless they’re like fine leather or dress shoes or something.

or just scrub them in the sink.

also, theres a post office in Ives hall in ILR quad

the cornell store is the best bet for mailing materials (envelopes, bubble wrap, tape). though target could be slightly cheaper.

Appel and RPCC no longer sell stamps. The Post Market @ Ives is your best mailing solution.
