<p>My Common App essay is only around 400 words. Will this likely be a problem? I feel it is well-written, just not as long as I would have liked...</p>
<p>As long as you’ve said what you have to say and the essay communicates who you are it is fine. Admissions officers will probably be happy they don’t have to read a three page essay, and generally the more succinct writing is the better off it is stylistically.</p>
