Short hand for Admissions Officer?

<p>Adcom stands for Admissions Committee. But on CC it is also commonly used to mean an individual member of the committee as well. From what I've heard, admissions officers do not like the term "adcom."</p>

But yeah, AO is generally the term used for a single admissions officer.</p>
