<p>I would say not a particularly high chance of acceptance. He should try and boost his SAT score, or see if he can do well on the ACT. Maybe then, and if he writes some really good essays and gets great recs, the chance could be better.</p>

<p>Calc AB is a minimum requirement for Mudd. Most Mudd students enter with at least Calc BC under their belt. Furthermore, all Mudders have mostly 5's on math/science AP tests.</p>
<p>Anyways, it is still worth a shot. Sometimes true brilliance does not shine through academics. In fact, I venture to say this is often the case...</p>
