What are all the shots we need to get before schools starts? Is it just Hep B, or should we be getting more?

Hep B is the only required one (although you could always say that it is against your beliefs and not be immunized.) You should probably get the meningitis one, since the illness is very common among college students. If you're a girl planning on doing the dirty, you ought to get Gardasil to prevent cervical cancer.

I'd hold out on Gardasil. They're finding a lot of side effects for it as well as a couple deaths that may just be coincidental. One of the girl's family is suing Merck I think. It's a new vaccine that just came out a year or two ago.

Hep B is all? I thought there were more that Berkeley required...

My mom and I were watching fox news during lunch and a story about Gardasil came on. She's crazy and doesn't want me to get it anymore, whatever...I'm okay with just being protcted from meningitis and hepatitis b. Thanks.

FoxNews: fair *and *balanced.

^^ lol....

Don't knock fox. The world needs laughter and they provide it. Without O'Reilly, what would Stephen Colbert draw from? And don't lie, you know Brit Hume was hot back in the day.

Do I have to send in a statement about my immunization? On Myapp it said that UC Berkeley received my official transcript and on my transcript it says that I got my Hep-B shots on 5/18/99, 6/22/00 and 2/19/00. So would my transcript count as my statement?

No, you still have to send in a separate statement on the form provided.
